It’s easy to take things for granted, especially something as work-a-day as your computer or it’s software. Cult Of Mac has an interesting article covering Snow Leopards new icon art. I’ve always noticed how detailed OS X icons were, but being limited to 128×128 in previous versions of the OS corralled the curiosity. Now, Snow Leopard has piqued my curiosity again in all it’s 512×512 glory.

The coffee cup has bubbles on the rim—this is a bit OCD perhaps. But it is this very attention to detail and quality which draws so many to the brand to begin with.
