It’s easy to take things for granted, espe­cially some­thing as work-​​​​a-​​​​day as your com­puter or it’s soft­ware. Cult Of Mac has an inter­est­ing arti­cle cov­er­ing Snow Leop­ards new icon art. I’ve always noticed how detailed OS X icons were, but being lim­ited to 128×128 in pre­vi­ous ver­sions of the OS cor­ralled the curios­ity. Now, Snow Leop­ard has piqued my curios­ity again in all it’s 512×512 glory. The cof­fee cup has bub­bles on the rim—this is a bit OCD perhaps.…

NVIDIA releases Adobe CS4 CUDA plu­g­ins for Macs own­ers of more recent Macs with fast video cards were given an extra speed advan­tage on Mon­day with a new set of Adobe Cre­ative Suite 4 plugins.

I love Leop­ard, being a Mac geek and all. One thing which frus­trated me was the inabil­ity of Quick­Look (QL) to view stan­dard Adobe file types such as Illus­tra­tor files. I am sure Adobe will release QL plu­g­ins with com­pat­i­bil­ity updates in ’08, but what to do in the interim? Luck­ily Apple built QL to use a plu­gin archi­tec­ture, allow­ing some gen­er­ous indi­vid­u­als to fill the void in the mean time. I found two great site, via TUAW, tracking…
